6月1日 (火) Russington Cafe　ラシントン・カフェ

Russington Cafe is located at a foot of Bandai Bridge in Niigata City. You can enjoy French food while watching the beautiful sight of the Shinano River at a reasonable price.
今日の食事は1500円でフランスお惣菜二つとメインディッシュ、かなりリッチなスープにお代わりありのフランスパンと紅茶。信濃川を見ながら、燦燦と差し込む日差しの中でゆっくり食事ができます。

6月5日 (土) Wedding 結婚式

I attended the wedding of my former student. She studied in my class for 5 years from 13 to 18. The wedding took place at Arc Club Geihinkan in Niigata City. It was such a beautiful and touching wedding. The weather was perfect and the place was so beautiful. My best wishes for future happiness together!
昔の生徒さんの結婚式に参加しました。すばらしい結婚式、感動しました。とても素敵なカップルです。2枚目の写真は新婦のピアノにあわせ友人達が歌を。和子ちゃん、どうぞお幸せに。

6月17日 (木) Ijimino Park　Iris garden in Shibata 新発田市五十公野公園あやめ園

Irises in various colors are now at their peak. So beautiful! It was a weekday, but there were many people enjoying the flowers. On the way to the park,I found a propane tank with a face.
「いじみの公園」と読むそうです。木曜だったけどいっぱい人がいました。きれいでした。途中プロパンのタンクに顔が描いてあっておもしろかったので撮りました。

6月22日 (火) Kenrich 　ケンリッチ

"Kenrich" is a bakery and restaurant in Sanjo-city, where they serve pasta and pizza. You can eat as much bread as you want while you are dining there. You can see them baking pizza in the bread oven. It's something!! Yummy, yummy!
「ケンリッチ」はパン屋でレストラン。パスタとピザが食べれられます。今日はピザを食べました。焼いてるところが見られるんですよ。おもしろい！！

6月24日 (木) Kohi-ya 　珈琲屋

This restaurant is in Kamo City, next city to Sanjo. Pasta is really good here. My freind had a sardine pizza, which also tasted so good! After having lunch here, we went to karaoke. This friend of mine is a music genius at harmonizing on any song. We sang pops with perfect harmony. Then we sang "shoka"or "songs for schoolchildren," many of which to my regret have been disappearing from music textbooks because they are too old-fashoned. I, for one, want to pass down those good old songs to future generations.
加茂市にあるこのレストランのパスタとピザは超お勧め。私好み。私はパスタ、友人はいわしのピザ、おいしかった・・・また行きたい。
この後二人でカラオケに行きました。この友人はハモリの達人で私が歌う曲何でもハモらせる。普通にポップスなど歌った後（と言っても最近の歌はあまり知らない）、最後はおそらく私たちだけしかリクエストしないと思われるような小学校唱歌を連続で入れて歌いまくりました。気分は由紀さおり、安田章子姉妹。それにしても歌いながらもよく考えるとぜんぜん意味がわからないのも結構ある。例えば「早春賦」の2番目の歌詞「さては時ぞと　思うあやにく・・・」の「あやにく」って何？「浜辺の歌」で2番目の歌詞、「ゆうべ浜辺を　もとおれば・・・」確か音楽の時間に意味を教えてもらったと思うけど、忘れちゃった。私は小学校唱歌が好きで、今はだんだん昔のいい曲が教科書から消えていくのが残念。何とかならないでしょうか。
